Al-Sr alloy is a kind of modifier used inAl-Si alloy casting for improving the mechanical properties (mainly impacttoughness) of Al-Si alloy.
In case of over-injected silicon material,it becomes very weak structured. Therefore the modifier can prevent thisproblem and even further, can help to achieve the uniformity and improvedstructure of the material.

A413(AlSi12), A360(AlSi12Mg).

Instructions for use :
1. Preparethe required alloy composition. Follow the normal fluxing and cleaningprocedure as recommended.
2. Afterthe refining and separating operation, push the surface scum of liquid aluminumaside, according to the quantity to add the AlSr alloy at temperature between 720-740Deg C.
3. Afteradding AlSr alloy, aluminum alloy liquid has a tendency to absorb hydrogen, itis necessary to strengthen the degassing.
4. After AlSrmelting,that is, achieve the metamorphic effect, can be used to cast.
